Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia and your likely starting off point for your journey into a fabulous land. Tbilisi is located on the Mtkvari River and is Georgia's largest city by far.

The main attraction to do in Tbilisi is to take a famous Sulphur bath in one of the many therapeutic baths in Tbilisi. The bath district is Abanotubani, on the south side of the Metekhi Bridge.

Georgia is well known as the cradle of wine. When you arrive in Tbilisi a good way to get an introduction of the city and country is to drive to Turtle Lake. Turtle Lake is high above the city, offering fantastic panorama views of Tbilisi. On the road up is a good restaurant to stop at for authentic Georgian cuisine and get a glass (or two or three) of Georgian white wine.
